About the program
KINNDcommons is a veteran-empowered smart live-work-play community concept: housing, entrepreneurship, and support services designed together, with shared-value participation built in from the start. It is the physical expression of the KINNDship thesis — a place where participation, ownership, and community reinforce each other.
What we’re designing
- Live — attainable housing anchored by veteran ownership pathways developed through VRECIP and KINNDvets.
- Work — space for small enterprises, trades, studios, and remote professionals, with incubation support on site.
- Play — culture, recreation, and gathering places that make the community a destination rather than a development.
- Smart infrastructure — community-serving technology designed with the Smart Community / Social AI Utility program.
Who it’s for
Veterans and families seeking ownership within a supportive community; entrepreneurs who want to live where they build; and housing, services, and capital partners interested in community-scale collaboration.
Where it stands
KINNDcommons is in development as a public-safe blueprint. Site, partners, and financing structures are being developed — nothing on this page is an offer, and no location or timeline is final until formally announced.
How to participate
Explore partnership if your organization works in housing, veteran services, or community development — or join the ecosystem to follow the program as it develops.
