Social AI Utility Pilot

development

About the project

The Social AI Utility Pilot is the first practical test of the Smart Community / Social AI Utility concept: a narrow, well-scoped pilot that explores how community-serving AI capability can support residents and local institutions in the real world.

What the pilot tests

  • A defined community use case — one concrete service improvement, chosen with partners, rather than a broad platform.
  • Governance in practice — how public, academic, and private partners share direction and accountability.
  • Community benefit measurement — what “serving the community” means in observable terms.

Where it stands

The pilot is in development under the Smart Community / Social AI Utility program. Scope, partners, and location will be announced when confirmed — no pilot outcomes are promised in advance.

How to participate

Municipalities and institutions interested in hosting or co-developing the pilot can start a conversation.
